From hosted to host!

HEY EVERYBODY. This week went by so fast! On Sunday, we taught relief society to the zone & we got to watch a movie! We watched the Joseph Smith and the Restoration. It felt pretty good to be able to watch a movie. During class on Monday me and Hermana Hardman fell asleep on the floor and then they had subway for dinner. They have fast-food Mondays and it is truly the greatest thing. The food here is not good so when they have familiar restaurants it is wonderful. They also have Papa John Friday. I miss grilled cheese and chicken nuggets SO MUCH. On Tuesdays we have devotionals and this week we got to hear from D. Todd Christofferson and his wife. It was soooo cool. We heard that it was gonna be a good speaker so we got there really early and we ended up on the 2nd row. It was awesome.
One of my room mates had a sore throat and when she went to get it checked out they said that she needed to get her tonsils out ASAP. So she ended up getting her tonsils out the next morning and she was supposed to leave for her mission this next Tuesday and she isn't going to be able to leave for another week or 2. So we have just kind of been taking turns taking care of her. They have a thing called the sick bay where she goes during the day but then we go get her for the night. Me and Hermana Hardman were in our room and we were seeing who could pop there back the most times and i tried to do a back bend and i was watching the ceiling like you're supposed and then i got scared and just fell back Hermana Hardman recorded it. This week with Hermana Miller has been a little bit better than last week. We had the branch president talk to her about being late to things but i don't think that it helped very much because she is still so slow and forgets everything. We are just trying to make it trough the last 23 days.
On wednesday our district did hosting so we got to get the new missionaries and help them to rooms and classes and everything. So me and Hermana Hardman got assigned to quickly take some of the people that arrived early to their rooms and stuff and we got 4 sisters. NONE of them spoke english. It took the whole time to get them to their room and everything because they couldnt tell what we were saying. So once we finished, we went down to that garage to get some new people and they had finished. It was really sad. But some hosts had multiple people and so they asked me to help with one of them and it ended up being my friend Brittlyn. It was so good to see a familiar face. I got to walk her to class and i have seen her around a lot since then.
On Thursday, we were all so excited for gym time and then Hermana miller said that she had made an appointment to talk to her therapist 10 minutes before the gym started so we were sad. She said that she would hurry so that we could go to some of gym but it ended up taking an hour and me and Hermana Hardman and Hermana Lowe did a 500 piece puzzle while we waited. Then we were in class and it was so late and we had taught three lessons and we were just so tired so our teacher assigned us to practice doing something in Spanish with our companions and Hermana Miller was just laughing at something and we didn't know what so Hermana Hardman tried to roll her chair back and so we could do the assignment and right when she started rolling it Hermana Miller stood up to fix her dress and when she went to sat down her chair wasn't there and she went straight down on the floor. It probably sounds like we were just trying to hurt her cause we are annoyed with her but it was an honest mistake hahaha.
So I have white rice at least once a day because the food here is so questionable. I am still getting a little homesick but I think that once I leave the MTC it will be better. Thank you everyone for the letters and E-mails. I hope everyone has a good week!
